What is the Pizza Powl?
Like the Dog Crawl, the Pizza Prowl is also a cute fundraiser contest to help support our foundation. The purpose of the contest is to generate donations to LERF-NJ while at the same time, having some fun. The participants in the "Prowl" are Trustees (pizza eaters), Sponsors (Donors, You?), and Judges.
The Contestants (Trustees) secure Sponsors to make donations based upon the amount of pizza each contestant will eat in the contest. All the players meet at Pete and Elda's AKA Carmines Pizza in Neptune City and the player who eats the most pizza wins the contest, and the Foundation benefits from the donations.
Sides and drinks also count toward the overall donations. He or She who eats the most pizza becomes the Champion of our Pizza Prowl.
For 2026, we are looking for sponsors for those of us who will be prowling. To Sponsor a Prowler come back closer to next spring and click the link above to pledge your support. Please print the form, scan it, and email it to info@lerf-nj.org. The Prowler you selected will be in touch to secure your donation and thank you for your generousity.
